Community Action Day

Get involved and have pride in your community! Once again working with the kids in the Byron-Bergen schools, we'll spend the day planting flowers, picking up our parks, putting up flower boxes, and cleaning up the village that we call home. The action starts at 9 am in Hickory Park!

Park Festival

The classic Park Festival will return this year a parade to kick thing off, followed by all the festivities we've been missing and conclude with everyone's favorite fireworks. 

Bergen Summer Recreation Program

10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, 7/3 thru 8/10

We are excited to announce the return of the Village's FREE summer recreation program. This year's program will be four weeks long and is for ages 5-15. Register at the Village Office with these forms.

Jenny Kuzma Memorial Bergen 5K

Starts at 8:30 pm

The annual road race will begin at 8:30am on August 12th in Hickory Park. Click this link for more information.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Starts at 6:30 pm

On December 4th we will be hosting our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Hickory Park starting at 6:30pm. We will begin by caroling around part of the village then ending up back at Hickory Park where there will be a performance by the elementary band, cookies, hot cocoa, crafts and of course Mr. & Mrs. Clause. .
