VILLAGE BOARD of TRUSTEES
Regular Meeting Minutes
August 24, 2005
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called
to Order by Mayor Wayne Bailey at 7:02 p.m. with the following present:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye
Also present were Linda Austin, DPW Supervisor Joseph Chimino, Dale Leiter,
Cindy DeFelice, Dave Henry, Alayne Mante, Carlton Mante, Charles Dodson,
Scott Crosier, Jim Pascarella, and Gerald Fuerch.
APPROVAL OF BILLS
A motion to approve the bills was made by Trustee Anna Marie Barclay and
seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried by the following
vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of
August 10, 2005 was made by Trustee Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee
Anna Marie Barclay. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR

Cindy DeFelice - the Board wanted her project to stay
off right-of-way between sidewalk and street. They did allow one day
with supervision for her project to be on the right-of-way for Opening
Day. |

Dale Leiter has the following concerns about the Mayne Estates.
- Plan B drainage onto Rochester Street
- Plan A line Munger Street
- Who will pay for the easements?
- Sanitary sewer leach fields were an option on the DEIS, if needed.
This is against our sewer agreement. |
DPW SUPERVISOR'S REPORT
A motion to accept the oral report of the DPW Supervisor was made by Trustee
Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee Robert Bausch. The motion carried
by the following vote:

Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye

1. Trustee Virginia Adams - appearance of 39 Buffalo Street.
2. Trustee Anna Marie Barlcay - moped on sidewalks.
NEW BUSINESS

Fire Department budget - letter to Riga
requesting a larger share $18,500. |

A motion to approve the following resolution as offered
was made by Trustee Anna Marie Barclay and seconded by Trustee Virginia
Adams. The motion carried unanimously.
WHEREAS, The Village of Bergen, located at 11 Buffalo Street,
Bergen,New York; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Bergen Village Board held an informational
meeting August 10, 2005, with the residence of Clinton Street, North
and South Lake Avenues; and
WHEREAS, the purpose was to clarify the proper names of
the Streets and Avenues in question; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED THAT, on this
24th day of August 2005, by the Village Board of the Village of
Bergen, County of Genesee, State of New York, that Clinton Street
will remain known as Clinton Street, South and North Lake Avenues
will remain known as South Lake Avenue and North Lake Avenue.

1. New York Archives Grant - tabled.

A motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Robert Bausch and seconded by
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay. The motion carried by the following vote:
