VILLAGE BOARD of TRUSTEES
Regular Meeting Minutes
July 13, 2005


The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to Order by Mayor Wayne Bailey at 7:00 p.m. with the following present:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye

Absent: Trustee Anna Marie Barclay

Also present were Linda Austin, DPW Supervisor Joseph Chimino, Dale Leiter, Alayne Mante, Carlton Mante, Holden Miller Jr., Patty Miller, Elizabeth Smith, Robert Smith, Grace Gallivan, and Ed Adams.


APPROVAL OF BILLS
A motion to approve the bills was made by Trustee Robert Bausch and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye


APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 22, 2005 was made by Trustee Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye


PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR

Holden and Patty Miller - tree removal on their property at 21 S. Lake.
Mayor Bailey will look into it.


DPW SUPERVISOR'S REPORT
A motion to accept the oral report of the DPW Supervisor was made by Trustee Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried unanimously.

Highlights:
· Terry Tree Service lowest bid; 2 weeks before he can start
· catch basin repair for next week
· sewer truck ordered will be here in the middle of September
· took oil samples at substation
· Churchville has an infra-red camera; only cost would be labor rate of Churchville's employees
· new line
· taking street light count
· taking pole inventory
· Saturday at 6:00 a.m. - shut down Leonard Bus and Liberty Pumps


The lowest quote for a Pole Trailer is $9,333.00. A motion to purchase a Pole Trailer was made by Trustee Robert Bausch and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried unanimously.


HISTORIAN'S REPORT
A motion to accept the Historian's oral report was made by Trustee Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried unanimously.

Historian Almquist is researching Clinton Street or Clinton Avenue. The Board has the right to send a proclamation to change the street classification from Street to Avenue or visa versa.


NEW BUSINESS

1. A motion to approve the Assignment of the Lease from Sprint to Global Signal was made, but only after the lights are repaired, by Trustee Virginia Adams and seconded by Trustee Robert Bausch.
2. Resolution to endorse Black Creek Watershed - tabled.


EXECUTIVE SESSION
A motion was made by Trustee Robert Bausch and seconded by Trustee Paul Cooper to enter Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch-aye
Trustee Paul Cooper-aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye

Executive Session was entered at 8:00 p.m.


ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Robert Bausch and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:39 p.m.
