MINUTES OF BID OPENING MUNICIPAL REFUSE BIDS


MAY 19, 2006
VILLAGE OFFICE, 1:00 P.M.

The bid opening was called to order by the Mayor. The following people were in attendance:

Three (3) bids were opened and read aloud:

- Heberle Disposal Service, Inc.
- Waste Management
- Suburban Disposal

The Alt.1 rate bids 2006-2009 were as follows:

- Heberle Disposal $41,196.00 total annual charge for weekly bulk waste,
recyclables and curb side bulk pickup.
- Waste Management $48,970.00 total annual charge for weekly bulk waste, recyclables, and curb side bulk pickup.
- Suburban Disposal $78,952.00 total annual charge for weekly bulk waste, recyclables and curb side bulk pickup.

The Alt.2 rate bids 2006-2009 were as follows:

- Heberle Disposal $38,696 total annual charge for weekly bulk waste and
recyclables.
- Waste Management $41,440 total annual charge for weekly bulk waste and
recyclables.
- Suburban Disposal $79, 912 total annual charge for weekly bulk waste and
recyclables.

 

The Bid notice was read aloud by the Mayor. The Mayor said the award will be voted on by the Board at the next Board Meeting on May 24, 2006.

Mark Barber requested to be added to the agenda to answer any questions.
The bid meeting closed at 1:15 p.m.
