Regular Meeting Minutes
December 28, 2005


The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to Order Mayor Wayne Bailey at 7:00 p.m. with the following present:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye

Also present were Linda Austin, Joe Chimino, Dale Leiter, Alayne Mante, Carl Mante, and Mary Ann Price.


APPROVAL OF BILLS
A motion to approve the bills was made by Trustee Anna Marie Barclay and seconded by Trustee Virginia Adams. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye


APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 14, 2005 was made by Trustee Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee Robert Bausch. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye


DPW SUPERVISOR'S REPORT
A motion to accept the oral report of the DPW Supervisor was made by Trustee Virginia Adams and seconded by Trustee Anna Marie Barclay. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye

Highlights:

- sewer plant 88,000 gal/day
- life ring cabinets
- inverter no good, returned
- block heater at plant not working
- power outage Monday - transformer went on Clinton Street
- main primary in park down
- conductor pulling in January scheduled
- inventory in January
- test 150 meters in January
- tree trimming
- trickle meter he has (2) 10 amp and (1) 15 amp

Mrs. Prue (30 Church Street) has 6" drop off at the end of her driveway. Board states it's her responsibility to fix it.


TRUSTEE CONCERNS

1. Trustee Bausch reported that the appraisal for property would cost $800.00
2. Trustee Barclay reported Stu Brown will research grants; engineer will do the drawings.
3. Grants available for Document storage - historic roofing - bricks
Trustee Adams and Trustee Barclay on committee to obtain grants for government available funding.
4. Trustee Barclay to write a letter to Mary Lou Rath by February


MAYOR'S REPORT

A Clerk-Treasurer has been hired and she will start on January 24, 2006.


NEW BUSINESS


A motion was made by Trustee Robert Bausch and seconded by Trustee Paul Cooper to appoint Andrew Condidorio to the Fire Department. The motion carried unanimously.


OLD BUSINESS

1. $30,000 in lieu of taxes from Electric to General - tabled
2. Procurement Policy - tabled
3. BAN or Bond - tabled


ADJOURNMENT

A motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Paul Cooper and seconded by Trustee Anna Marie Barclay. The motion carried by the following vote:
Trustee Robert Bausch - aye
Trustee Anna Marie Barclay - aye
Trustee Virginia Adams - aye
Trustee Paul Cooper - aye

The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
