Refuse Collection

Garbage bags and recycling are collected on Wednesday mornings.  Items must be placed at the curb by 6:00 am.  If your items are missed, please call the Village Office at 494-1513.

Village Garbage Tags

Special orange Village of Bergen refuse tags are required for garbage pick up. These tags are available at the Village Office and select local merchants at a cost of $2.25 each.

Bulk Pick-Up

Every year the Village of Bergen has a Bulk Pick-Up day.  Residents can place any items near the curb to be picked up free of charge.  This is a valuable service few communities provide, allowing residents to dispose of items that would be difficult to get ride of otherwise.

Appliance / Furniture Items

If you would like large items picked purchase special tags from the Village Office.  These items will not be picked up unless the tags are purchased and Heberle is notified since a different truck is used for this purpose.  The tags are $2 each, the item depending on the size may require up to five tags.

Recycling Bins

Recycling Bins maybe be picked up at the Village Office from 8:30-4:00.  Please call ahead as we frequently run out.

Holiday Schedule

Heberle Disposal observes New Years, Christmas, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving. If the holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday garbage pick-up will be delayed by one day.  If you have any questions please call the Village Office at 494-1513.
