Chairperson Leiter opened the meeting at 7:30 P.M.

Summary of Joint meeting with DOT was reviewed.

Important Points:

·
Rochester Street and Route 19 are under current review. Board will ask for results when study is completed.
·
Jake brakes signs are not allowed. They are not on the state approval list.
·
DOT is already aware of speed concerns.
·
Traffic course- video available to review
·
Traffic study indicated that there would be minimal impact to Route 262 and Route19 based on 140 units being built on Mayne property.

On Saturday, March 13, a meeting was put together quickly with the Village Board. Trustees are looking for feedback from the Planning Board on issues not addressed correctly. Issues Dale wanted the Planning Board to be aware of are as follows:

·
Demos being built closer to Route 19
·
Ponds -storm water-no more run off than there is now and no connection to current system
·
Members should be thinking of covenants (items that they do not want or want in the development. Ex- special use permits)
·
Bob Bausch suggested making Parkview a dead end street (Route 33 entrance closed off). Would this cause more traffic on Rochester Street?

Robert Smith, resident, would like the developer to keep the Village and residents more informed on the building plans. What is the order of development?
Elizabeth Smith stated that is up to the Village and Zoning Board when it comes to the townhouses. Maybe some other suggestions instead of a PUD. Drainage is still a concern for her. She still prefers to see single residences.
Dale noted her concerns, and let her know that he is aware of the storm water problem. He is not ignoring her concerns.

Marian made a motion to adjourn, and Wendy seconded it. All were in favor.

Meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M

Respectfully submitted,

Patricia Ireland
